One Moment

Today I would like to post a poem written a long time back by a cute li'l angel, a friend of mine.. Shivangi (Dolls) Raghav... I also apologize to her for being sooooo lazzy to put up her poem. I hope that this will inspire her to write wonderful new poems for us and post them up on her own blog....

One moment is enough to change your life, there will be just one moment that will make your day and just one that will destroy it.

It takes just one moment to spoil your image and a lot of hard work, determination and obviously time to make one.

There will be moments which we will cherish for all our life time, and one moment which we regret throughout our life. One moment can make your life and one moment can spoil your whole life and jerk the heck out of you.

In the end it takes just one moment to make it or destroy it, so that one moment is very precious. Always try to know the value of that one moment and what it will cost you if you take it lightly.

Shivangi Raghav.

We want the solution now

The Naxals have struck again. This time they were blatant in accepting that they meant to do maximum damage. They are a threat to the peace in the country and are terrorists by all definitions, yet why are we not taking any action against them. We have CPI (M) ministers praising the deeds of the red army. What I want to ask is whay are we letting this non-sense go unattended? I think this is the limit, the people of the India should take a strong stand against the Naxals, enough is enough. Why are the men who have laid their lives not been honoured yet? Why are we taking so long? They say that it will take 2 years to solve the Naxal problem, why not 2 months. Do they want another 2000 of our brave men dead? Why the delay to take any action? Why are we willing to sacrifice the citizens of India for a dirty game of politics? Isn't it the duty of the government to rid us of this problem? We humbly request our honourable ministers to respond quickly and decisively. This time we want an end, no investigation.

Is this the solution??

The recent attacks on our brave soldiers at Dantewada was a great blow to the operation green hunt.. Politicians came out blaming Dr. Chidambaram, who then decided to resign... Straight out of the book maneuver.. But did it help or will this ever help to solve the problem?? Just accepting one's fault has never and will never solve any issue. I do not intend to offend the intentions of our respected Union Home ministerji. I just want to appeal to all our leaders that please stop the blame game and begin to take some concrete steps to curb the menace, it is not that the present government has failed , the problem has not been solved by the others too. So look back on your past and do what is best. Do not let the lives of all the brave men, not just those of the Dantewada massacre but of all those who have died till now go in vain. Please stop playing by the books. The soldier is not afraid to make a valiant sacrifice, but he / she does expect some fruits to be borne by it. He may not win a medal for it but he wants a safer place for his child. Solve the problem now, ask to yourselves will all the hue and cry be the right solution.. I wait for you reply respected sirs and mams.
